Selection Process
Eligibility: Must train with Devenir Goaltenders
Top 10 Finalists: Selected by Devenir Coaching Staff
Top 5 Finalists: Determined by public voting via Instagram
Winner: Selected by Devenir Owners and affiliates
Award Recognition
The recipient will receive:
A goalie helmet provided by General Sports
A custom paint design by MVP Airbrush
The award reflects both the performance and identity of the goaltender who earns it.

Meet the top 10 Finalists:
Uma Corniea (Princeton University, 2004)
Uma delivered an elite season at Princeton, leading the program to its first ECAC regular season championship in school history and an NCAA National Tournament appearance. With 16 wins, a .935 save percentage, 1.79 GAA, and 6 shutouts, she anchored her team with consistency, poise, and championship-level performance.

Jackson Chesak (Mahtomedi – MSHSL, 2008)
Jackson put together a standout season for Mahtomedi, leading his team to a Class A State 3rd Place finish while also leading the state in minutes played. Posting a .916 save percentage, 2.63 GAA, and an 18-10-2 record, he proved to be one of the most durable and reliable goaltenders in Minnesota.

Janie McGawn (Blake School – MSHSL, Dartmouth Commit, 2008)
Janie had a dominant season for Blake, finishing with a .946 save percentage, 1.42 GAA, and a 22-8-0 record. A Dartmouth commit, she played a pivotal role in leading Blake back to the State Tournament for the first time since 2017, showcasing elite consistency, composure, and the ability to elevate her team in big moments.

Kaia Weiland (Centennial – MSHSL, Mercyhurst Commit, 2009)
Kaia led Centennial to a Class AA State Runner-Up finish, putting together an impressive season with a .921 save percentage, 1.86 GAA, and a 20-4-1 record. A Mercyhurst commit, she rose to the occasion in the biggest moments all season long.

Kayla Swartout (Holy Family – MSHSL, Wisconsin Commit, 2008)
Kayla was outstanding for Holy Family, helping lead her team to a Class AA State 3rd Place finish. With a .938 save percentage, 1.67 GAA, and a 24-4-0 record, the Wisconsin commit consistently delivered high-level performances against top competition.

Graham Olson (Minnetonka Peewee AA, 2012)
Graham had a standout season, posting a 19-7 record, .921 save percentage, and 2.19 GAA while playing a key role in Minnetonka’s success. He helped lead his team to a Big Pumpkin championship, a State Runner-Up finish, and a berth at Nationals with the Lakers. His consistency, composure, and ability to perform in big moments made him a difference-maker throughout the season.
Kamran Moin (Bloomington Jefferson Peewee AA, 2012)
Kamran put together a high-impact season as the sole goaltender over 52 games, finishing with a 33-18-1 record, .908 save percentage, and 3.02 GAA while facing an impressive 1,716 shots on the year. Competing in a highly competitive PWAA field, he earned recognition with a #14 YHH ranking and #8 staff ranking. His impact went far beyond the stat sheet, consistently delivering in high-pressure situations — including key wins over top programs like Woodbury, Lakeville North, Shakopee, and Prior Lake, often while facing heavy shot volumes. His ability to battle, compete, and keep his team in games where they were frequently outshot defined his season and showcased his resilience in the crease.

Blake Pickens (Prior Lake Bantam AA, 2011)
Blake had an exceptional season, backstopping Prior Lake to a Bantam AA State Championship while delivering consistent, high-level performance throughout the year. In 32 games, he posted a 23-5-4 record, .920 save percentage, 2.30 GAA, and 722 total saves. His ability to elevate in key moments was evident in his 0.53 GAA in third periods, allowing just 17 goals all season — a testament to his composure and reliability when it mattered most. Renner Andersen (Shattuck-St. Mary’s U14 AAA, 2011)
Renner has put together an outstanding season at Shattuck-St. Mary’s, posting a .932 save percentage, 1.81 GAA, and 6 shutouts, while adding an assist. Competing at the elite U14 AAA level, he’s demonstrated high-end consistency and playmaking ability from the crease.

Cade Nystrom (Shattuck-St. Mary’s U16 AAA, 2009)
Cade has been dominant at the U16 AAA level, posting a .934 save percentage, 1.53 GAA, 5 shutouts, and a 23-2-0 record, while also contributing 2 assists. His consistency, puck play, and ability to control games have made him one of the top-performing goaltenders in his age group.
